recorded mostly in 2014, except "New Lands"*. mastered in 2015.
This album explores the sound of acoustic guitar processed by a computer in various ways, as well as hardware pedals such as a POG2 polyphonic octave generator, distortion, phaser, and something called a Freeze pedal, creating infinite sustains. Most of the effects are VST plugins processed on the computer both in real time and in post-production.
*New Lands was recorded in May 2012 in NYC and is a friend's acoustic guitar, and also includes a homemade synthesizer as well as field recordings in New York City. The rest is my Lucero classical acoustic/electric guitar processed through the aforementioned fx pedals and VSTs on a laptop (mostly with Reaper as the host).
Other than that, there is a Korg monotron on one track to go along with the guitar.
